Hi Everyone,
The title of this post is a reference to a very catchy song by the Spice Girls. I had to do a bit of research since I mainly knew this lyric and the beat from hearing it on television. It fits perfectly with today’s Author’s Choice! (This post will mainly be for non-B-mancers given its context.)
As early as Book One, we can see hints of B’s opinions on the romance route the MC may be starting to tread along while in Fernweh, though there is a specific instance in Chapter 13 that I wanted to share. How your loyal friend reacts during the farewell is very telling. There’s a gradient of approval within those interactions that is hinted at earlier in the first book too. 👀

You and Sparrow being willing to defend B is everything; they could use someone like that in their corner, especially when dealing with the Fernweh townsfolk. (R would have to agree with you on this, for sure. It's why they can make some side comments on B's route, lol. R, after seeing and B interact: "Just friends?" 🤨) Oh, poor Sparrow; I know how much he cares for his friends and loved ones, so I'm sure that accidentally bringing (well, trapping) B into Fernweh is going to create a lot of guilt and what-ifs. It will be interesting to address this; I have a good feeling that Sparrow will show that he cares. (Also yes, they are the best trio! 😘💚🖤💘 (<-- Idk, if they have a crimson heart emoji, please imagine one. XD)

They have some positive association thanks to the Belgian waffles 🧇, but the two haven't interacted as much when compared to the rest of the gang. That being said, B is perceptive enough of their friend to notice them having gone off or sought out the W, so hmm. They're curious, maybe a little hesitant, especially because they haven't heard about them from the MC.

I love besties (i also do enjoy idiots that are "just friends" like just kiss) AND I KNOW THEIRS GONNA BE DRAMA AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPARROW TO FEEL ABSOLUTELY GUILTY FOR B BEING STUCK IN FERNWEH WITH HIM HE FEELS SO BAD ABOUT IT.
