The more I learn about Naia, the more I can see aspects of her personality playing very well with R's, because they will also try to temper themself if it's for someone they are growing to care for, if not love. (It's not always easy given how R can be blunt at times, but they try. Thinking of how things affect not only them but them + the MC comes very naturally. Once they decide to get fully attached, they're bound. RIP whoever (or whatever) tries to tamper with that bond...) Naia not caring and not giving a reaction/rising to take the bait is an interesting character move with how Ms. V will react to that control, possibly restraint. I can confirm that Ms. V, despite how counterintuitive this might seem, can respect that level of devotion to R. Would she ever admit that aloud or even to herself? Hmm, but she admires it. We'll have to see if Ms. V might surprise you (for better or worse.) 👀

Of course, Ms. V is also nasty to Naia, but she doesn't really care. She'd swallow it and bite her tongue (probably bite it clean off, at some point) and be nice to Ms. V for Reese's sake. But if she's mean to Reese, all bets are off.
