May this be a year of Power and Ascension for all of us. From when it first came out in April 2024 -> now, Orphan looks entirely different. That's even with big gaps in development in the first year and a huge learning curve. Now that I'm picking up serious momentum... Man. The ceiling for this game & community is bigger than many realize. Hope to impress you, Chachi. This support and shared energy won't go to waste.

I'd like to think that I'm pretty open and frank in these scrolls, but I try and retain most of the game's mystery and inner workings. HC posts will have 100% transparency into game direction and design. But we will see how it goes and iterate/improve as always! Supporters seem quite interested in the worldbuilding and design process w/ Orphan so I'm happy to share deeper insights to my highest... DEVOTEES. RE: the tier image, Not the first time I've seen him called Geralt, pretty hilarious to me. 😂 I utilized a similar style for background characters for the Sereth image in the House Varro feast. You'll recognize it once/when you see it. I think it works for background characters/prop scenes without being TOO jarring, so hopefully people appreciate it. Thanks Picker!

2026-01-21 15:53:04 +0000 UTC1. Nooo, I don't want to suffer 😱. 2. Guilty as charged 😆! I haven't played it yet or rather, I haven't got to the part where the Varro House feast is (very soon). 3. The Harrowing sounds very different; it's as if it's a whole other game within Orphan, as if we're travelling to another continent 500 years ago. I know there are already bad endings in the Slave/Gladiator paths, but are they connected to The Harrowing in any way? I mean the active routes that don't have an ending yet. I'm making progress, but I'm still at the stage where I don't know whether the Slave and Gladiator paths are the same or two different routes 🤔. 4. Your new tiers do not have access to Discord, at least according to the description. 5. What are High Council posts? 6. I don't know how to describe it, but the "Usurper" image doesn't have the same style as your other art or the general art of Cradle. Look at the image of the hooded mage above, for example. It has an old comic book style, as do your images of Khalika and the Countesses. Geralt of Rivia does to an extent, but the background harem looks different, although it's good it's not the same style 🫠. 7. I'm enjoying exploring your universe.

I've been working my way through the current build, taking screenshots and trying to give some commentary here and there of how the scene made me feel. I hope to share that at some point but I'm not a writer like yourself, it's more that I want to show you that your writing does evoke something. I hope that makes sense :)

I myself am one of the ones that likes to let things build (except for the ludus route lol) All that aside though I wonder what you mean by what sort of consequences we as players have to pay to unlock this magick…feels ominous. Either way i hope you hit 2k hopefully this year and going forward continue to grow as a creator. One of the few that creates great material on this platform.
