Here we are folks, the first part of a larger Underdark/cave series that I've been working on. I love a good cavern crawl, but always found that cave maps tend to be more function over form. They may mostly be rocks, but they deserve all the artistic love of sprawling forests and treasure laden temples. This is is the first part of a sequence of maps to chronicle your party's journey underground. Similar to the older modular sets I've done, they're meant to be used in sequence over several sessions, or just as is for quick encounters in the dark.
This particular pack includes two unique maps: The cave entrance, and the first level dubbed "Area 1." The original concept was to show the progression from the surface world to the deep subterranean delves. Variants included transform a simple cave to something volcanic/alpine/lush/far underground ect; totaling to 18 images.
Future parts of this series will probably be slotted as "mini packs" with less variations. I'd love to be able to do as much unique terrain as possible without it being redundant in terms of paid packs. The ultimate goal is for all these caverns and passages to lead up to habitable locations such a drow cities, goblin encampments, ect ect.
Thanks to everyone for your support! Patrons can find the links to download their files right below. Archmages, your packs have been split up into two: one for each map location. As always, every pack contains gridded, no grid, 200ppi, and 140ppi versions of every single variation.
I hope you all enjoy these, and have lucky dice rolls!
