The party creeps quietly through another dungeon delve; weaving their way from cavern to cavern avoiding all manner of oozes and goblins. Suddenly, the underground opens up to a large hall and a winding path around strange rock formations. The chamber's ceiling is held aloft by a central pillar, easily several giants' width in size. As the adventurers draw nearer, they begin to realize the rocks take on the form of a massive blade standing long enough for stalagmites and stalactites to grow in an unnatural embrace. Is it actually metal? A clever trick of stone carving? The one responsible for such an oddity may just be closer than the party thinks...
This was a fun take on "the sword and the stone" that I couldn't get out of my head for a while. The set functions as a unique narrative map, or your basic cavern crawl for all those classic underground adventures. Advanced Mages can look forward to an extra two variations in this pack that aren't exactly flashy enough for top tier status. And while I love some mystical lighting eye candy, not everyone enjoys godrays on their maps. So I've also included a basic no fancy lighting version for Apprentice Mage patrons.
A huge round of thanks for the support as we crank out the first pack of a new year. Patrons can find their pack downloads in the list below. Simply click on the link for your subscribed tier, and all the files available to you will automatically start to download. Each pack contains the gridded, no grid, 200ppi, and 140ppi version of every variant. As usual, Archmage maps have been split into 200ppi and 140ppi zip files due to reaching Patreon's upload limit.
