★Fees/Pledge Breakdown

A friend and fellow Creator wrote a very clear and concise post regarding what to expect, and, especially because my math skills are notoriously god-awful, I urge you to check out his post where he breaks down what the additional fees would end up being based on your tier amount.

PLEASE never apologize for deleting or editing a pledge, as I know that money is tight, especially around this time of year.

As Ross said, it is so incredibly humbling when someone you've never met believes in your work and chooses to support it, and all of us Creators are thankful for the love and kindness that you have shown us.

Yep, sending money "because you deserve it" was my motivation for joining Patreon in the first place. The 1$ Patreon rewards are a nice bonus, but for my sake they shouldn't be behind a paywall. Edit: For anyone else wondering about that Gumroad thing Anios mentioned, it's this: https://gumroad.com/ninjakitty

True on that NK. And it would be terrible/annoying to even track and send goodies manually to people. I'm no more on patreon and i'm really sad to not being able to support many artists, without being milked totally by Patreon itself. But i know there's other way to support people i was supporting. With you NK, for example, i know i will take some gumroad packs once i can and from time to time (in fact that's even better, since i was a simple 1$ patreon, the gumroad pack would give your more money than i could have done for a long time in patreon). Or even just send you money on paypal, without any counterpart. Just because you deserved it, hun :) *hug NK*

But the main thing is that I send out the goods via Patreon, since it allows me to send everything to a specific tier with one click, whereas my Paypal would not let me do that. :\

That's because it actually *is* better to tip with Paypal. Patreon charges 7.9% in fees, whereas Paypal charges up to 3.9%. Paypal's flat fee is also lower (0.30$ for sending USD) than Patreon's.

So yeah, that's pledge+VAT+new fee. :/ Really sad. In the end i feel like it's almost better to tip with paypal (even with Paypal fees lol).
