THEY WHERE NEVER TOUGHT HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH YOU BIG DUMMY. Who ever was in the first generation of un-petrified people would had to have taught their decedents how to speak and it was JAPANESE(-of-course) plus any basic information like the four seasons/(maybe the 12 months??) would have been necessary for survival (thus a year and a relative sense of time) and would have been automatically preserved by that need for survival while many other stories where probably irrelevant and forgotten. I’m Watching this series with you 1 reaction at a time btw and I’m surprised at all the super basic stuff your missing. Still love it overall besides the occasional foot in the mouth. Probably wouldn’t be watching it if you hadn’t started anyway.
