Oh man I love the rewatch. There's so many small details that I forgot in the first watch, it gives me such a better understanding. It's also crazy how bottled up Mikasas emotions were. Then when she sees Eren alive, she lets it out, and is probably the most emotional you ever see Mikasa. Also, there's so much symbolism in the anime. It kept showing the pomegranate, before Titan Eren showed up, which in ancient greek, symbolizes death, and rebirth.
