Bart vs. Thanksgiving - round up!

This is one of the schmaltziest - or maybe "James L Brooksiest" - episodes we've seen yet. The Bart/Lisa reconciliation is what the story relies on, to give viewers a warm fuzzy feeling to go out on. Whether this is earned, or emotionally effective, is completely subjective - I know some people prefer The Simpsons when it has more of a wacky or cynical flavour, but we're in season 2, and the crazier antics won't ramp up for a while. For what it's worth, I enjoy this episode, but it's probably in the lower end of what we've seen so far this season.
Bill and Marty have the longest shelf life of all the characters introduced here, although they aren't as used as I would have initially thought. Don't make me choose between them for who is the true MVP, my heart can't make such an important decision.
The NCHC is a respectable 33.333333333%, especially respectable because for once I don't have to open the calculator app to acquire it.
We've encountered 9 new best friends in "Bart vs. Thanksgiving", bringing our total up to 332. Some of you have read over three hundred and thirty two blog entries about characters from a 90s cartoon. I hope you're happy with yourself.
