Worked on the promo's for the new character for their imminent release. I think next week, maybe the one after depending on some behind the scenes things. If we slightly delay the release, we can also do a bio on her and release that alongside.
Nina Broughton Eye/Skin-Sweat shaders
Updated Nina's eye shaders, they ended up rendering black sometimes due to volumetric lighting, fixed that. Also tweaked their skin and sweat shaders a bit more realistically.
Captions and Dialogue
Did some tests for dialogues and text. I really don't like how comicbook-style speech bubbles look on 3D images and I don't think the block of text on the bottom is an elegant solution. I'm going to have to look around and see how people do it that I like.

Certainly, thanks for the nice words, also. But I want to expand my content to a story that needs some way of delivering dialogue. I could try: "Nina: That's so good, Alice." As subtitles, like a movie or in games. I'll have to experiment a bit more. I do agree, if dialogue isn't needed, it shouldn't be added just to add it. Thanks for the feedback.

2021-03-08 21:29:28 +0000 UTCI think you are very good at telling a story in a few images, so there is no need for dialog. If it adds to the story then fair enough, but judging by other artists it is genuinely difficult to write dialog that is more than just routine dirty talk.
