I feel like a debuff has been listed and I’m back in the groove. I wrote 7 chapters this week in book 4 and it feels good. I already circled back and edited 2 of the chapters, then sent them off to my alpha reader. They did catch a mistake in the first chapter, which was fantastic since I can get that fixed and the areas that it flows into the rest of the chapters.
This week, I plan on tackling another 8 chapters and do my best to get as many of the chapters I wrote last week edited. I dislike having a large gap because when I do find things that are wrong, there is more to correct.
I’ve contacted a few narrators and I’m getting samples from them. I also had a publisher ask me if I’ve thought of outsourcing audio to one of them. Not sure the direction I’m going to go with that, but I do know there will be audio, and I’m actively working on it so we can get production started. Audio does take a substantial amount of time, so I do know it will not release the same month as the ebook, but I’m hoping it comes out soon after.
I’m working on book 1 edits right after I get this scheduled, so next week there will be movement in that status.
