Unreal Engine 5 Swarm of Rats with Niagara Part 2 - Attacking Player

Yesterday I implement a swarm of rats in unreal engine 5 using the Niagara effects system that was inspired by the rat swarm simulation in the game Plague tale innocence. Today, I am going to further improve that system by implementing an attack mode. If the player gets closer to the region where rats roam, they will gang up on the player character and attack as a swarm. They will surround, climb on and overwhelm the player character. If the player runs away from their region, they will back off.

Yeah, that's a problem in rat normal map o think. Unfortunately i don't have enough knowledge in modeling subject to fix this. Need to consult q 3d artist

Why are the rats' legs much darker in colour than their body? How do I fix this?

I haven't looked at the object-aligned function in the grid material. I need to check that. But what do you propose for rotated objects? if a rotated object overlaps with another straight wall, then the overlapping location wouldn't be seamless. right?

Hi, the grid material in UE5 has an object aligned function, I wanna know the logic behind it. As a result I want to apply it as a material with seam to fit every wall (world aligned texture is not good to those 45 degree rotated object) , and random mask to make a diversified material to a wall with some seamless texture. Can this be a paid customed class?
