In today's episode, per popular demand, the girlies go back to 2018 to reflect on what has become known as one of the most infamous event disasters in YouTube history. What started as Tana Mongeau's retaliation against Vidcon after not being made a featured creator and getting banned from the event permanently, would ultimately turn into what can only be described as an absolute cluster fuck. What was marketed to be a 3 day event filled with special guests and performers, ended up getting prematurely cancelled after just one day. Thousands of fans were left not only disappointed, but also sunburned, dehydrated, and exhausted after spending hours in line in hopes of making it inside the venue - which for most, never happened due to the event selling over 4000 tickets despite the maximum capacity being just over 1000.

not so fun fun fact; the guy who was managing tana at the time, who put the entire thing on and did the documentary, actually was a menace to all his clients and even *allegedly* pulled a g*n on Larray who he also managed around that time (Larray talked abt it in another yotubers podcast). that guy was insane 😭

I am the same age as tana so i feel so weirded out by the tought of a girl the same age as me was organizing a whole con when i was jobless, just out of beauty school with nothing to my name. Looking back it just feels so strange to see everything that went down after that and the collapse of many big youtubers we grew up with in the coming years after tanacon. I don't know... I just feel nostalgic about a time where i was still a child and so clueless to the shit that was about to go down both on youtube and in my life since then. I feel really emotional watching this video, longing for a time where things were so simple... Ok so i'm done being a crybaby now XD Btw sorry for the mistakes i know will have been made in this comment, I'm not a really bad writer I'm just french XD
