STARSHIP!
Added 2016-12-07 16:54:44 +0000 UTCIt's been a little over two months since your last look at Starship Awesome, and in that time, the exterior has been completed, and the interior has been... mostly completed.
I already touched on the insane level of research that went into some of the exterior detail, but I wanted to also touch on the overall exterior design.
There's a little bit of everything in the design - elements of everything from the (70s) Battlestar Galactica, the Galactica Vipers, shuttlecraft and Landram, to various Star Wars ships including the X-Wing, Milennium Falcon, and the Snowspeeders, the Buck Rogers starfighters, ARK II and the SEEKER ships that were built from it for Space Academy and Jason of Star Command, The Back To The Future Delorean, Knight Rider, and even all the way back to original series Star Trek's Enterprise and Gallileo Shuttlecraft. All of it mashed together, and boiled down to this, like a good itallian pasta sauce.
The embodiment of the entire era in one ship.
