I told you from the beginning that you would be missing out if you gave up on Ren! I'm so glad you stayed with him. I think this is a great song to answer a lot of the questions you had about Ren's background and illness. For me, Ren is one of the few artists today who truly have something important to convey through music, whether it's a message or just their own inner emotions. Suga/August D and Chester Bennington (who I will never stop missing) of Linkin Park are the two others who come to mind as those who truly communicate through music. Some of the most honest and heart wrenching writing I've ever heard have come from Ren. Light, fun music is important too, but Ren has a way of helping others shift their own ideas and preconceptions in a way that can create empathy because he makes you feel so much.
