Agree with the comments about Nevermind. I just want to add the line from the song, "Never Mind, It wonโt be easy, but have this engraved on your chest/in your heart". I will leave the deep dive into the lyrics for Roscoe.

I believe Jimin tattooed it because he felt so impacted by the song and the line in the song If you can't return, go straight through your mistakes and forget them all, Nevermind "It's not easy but engrave it on your chest" If you feel like your going to crash then accelerate more you idiot.

Itโs fine, of course, to watch things early on, but I agree that it helps a lot to have context. I wasnโt as amazed as I was supposed to be. ;)

2022-08-12 17:28:39 +0000 UTCOk so "Nevermind" during the performance I'm 99.9% sure was an Easter egg for The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2 ("I Need You" is on Pt. 1 & "Nevermind" is the intro track on Pt. 2). As for Jimin's tattoo, none of the members seem to talk about the meaning behind their tattoos but given what Jimin was going through at the time & the lyrics of "Nevermind"...I'd lean towards it being related towards their track & not Nirvana's album. I think someone already covered it but there's only 1 MMA & 1 MAMA per year, the BlockB one was 2014 (they had it labeled wrong but during the video it says 2014 ๐). The different countries is just because the venue location changes sometimes.

2022-08-12 13:12:19 +0000 UTCSo, as far as I understand: MMA ist the Melon Music Award, Melon being a Korean online music shop. It's always held in South Korea. MAMA is the Mnet Asian music award, Mnet being a Korean music channel. It's mostly K-pop and sometimes it's held in other Asian countries. Also there's the Golden Disc Award, that's also Korean but can be held elsewhere. As far as I know, the GDA has lots of categories and less time for extravagant performances. So you could just proceed by year. Due to Covid, the 2020 and 2021 awards were mostly online with less content. There are no MMA and MAMA performances by BTS for 2021.
