Detecting Cosmic Rays with a Raspberry Pi

It looks like I can't give stuff away any more. Nice. Completely reasonable and sane policy there 🙄

It was around 150 USD, but I got the ready to use SiPM carrier module and the scintillator on it from someone in the CosmicPI team.

What was the total bom cost Marco? Did you end up getting the scintillators from the Ukrainian company? Or did you have to substitute them?

I know I'm late, but are by chance any of the boards left? A friend an I would like to try ourselves at building one unit. Greetings from Hanover ;-).

Discord has a patron only section. You can do it there.

I hope these PCBs find some good homes. It's a cool project, but not something I'd currently be able to commit to.

Mark S

Well its a fancy PCB. Who wouldnt want that

btw - I see that you use PCBite with DMM probes. They have released oscilloscope probes recently and I was wondering if I should buy those, or if I can get away simply using DMM probe with an adapter. How do you connect these to DSO? Straight in via the adapter?

What I've seen done before is post a link only youtube video, and have people enter there with their patreon user name

One can only admire the skills for such a complex project. When my project includes flashing anything, it is usually a diode, not firmware.

Normunds Gavars

My only criticism is that the PCB is a tad too big for it's functionality. Great video btw!

Dude this is so stupid. I guess Patreon needs more competition!
