2018-03-01 15:12:43 +0000 UTCThe new guy is a real old-timer. The first attempt at getting it into the EU failed, because it didn't comply with RoHS, that's how long they've been making the MDO3000. It boots slowly and has a smaller display, but on the other hand it has 1 GHz channels, a much better spectrum analyzer, and 16 logic channels too. And it doesn't feel like a rental car, the way the R&S did. It's mine :) Also: I haven't heard from R&S yet, maybe they'll just refresh my demo license (They are promoting that scope like crazy after all, giveaways on the EEVBlog, SignalPath and Element14 Road Tests ...)
