So imagine that I'm a _slightly_ more charismatic version of Jon Raymond above; greying of beard, rheumy of eye, but still dashing in my own quietly understated way. I also have two small children; the boy is the mathematician/musician, but the girl is utterly fascinated by all things scientific, technological, robotic, chemical etc. For her, access to a good stills microscope would be endlessly fascinating (and might perhaps save daddy's old set of OptiVisors from an untimely death in her overenthusiastic hands) With all of that said, Jon sounds like he needs 'em more, so he's getting my vote.
