As for blending , no I don't use too much the airbrush , always I say the same I paint 90% with brush because is easier and you'll enjoy more than cleaning the airbrush :) Next project I'll show you more about the airbrush to teach you :)

I have a miniature that is going to be good to try these techniques with waiting....especially interested in how well the airbrush cleans up and blends the layering it looks like you do with your paint. I don’t see you doing a lot of blending on the skin in the videos.
