Reckon ah got me some explaining to do

Bet y’all thought I was dead. Not hardly.

When I announced Watkins Cosmetics as a new Louder story I was illustrating on ararchive.com, you could have knocked me over with a feather when Mr. Louder himself responded, unfamiliar with the story. Well, without going into details, I was given the story by an author who told me it was a Louder story. Guess what he meant to say was it is a story written in the style of Louder. He was a big fan of the Archive in its day, and wanted to do homage to his favorite author, and one of mine, Louder.

Well I took it on myself to contact Mr. Louder and showed him the comic. He was actually flattered, and amused. He seems to be of a mind that there are so few AR authors out there, that a good story shouldn’t be ignored. He has no problem with my continuing it, and is curious to see it himself.

So the big guy’s on board. So no harm done, right? Well, not exactly. I know that many of you may have joined up to see a new Louder story, and although it’s a new story in the style of Louder, it was not written by him. I owe all of you an apology. Needless to say, any that would like a refund just message me and you’ll get it, and we can part ways. ‘Course if I was you, I’d stick around to read it… if you like AR/AP comics, that is. Whoever wrote it, it’s a dang good story! I know I’m enjoying it!
