PSA: Coronavirus Update

Do I have you attention?  Good.  I'm sure a lot of you out there are scared.  Every day, there are more coronavirus horror stories on the news.  My own opinion is that the overwhelming majority of people that contract the virus, my estimate is 97%,  will survive as they have survived bad flu bugs in the past.  The sick and the elderly are certainly at an increased risk of mortality.  I am afraid we have some very tough times ahead.

So what does that mean to you, my patrons?  Here's the thing: Lauren (AKA wifey) came home tonight saying that she thinks there will be a nationwide lock down by the end of the week. Now you may ask yourself "how does that affect Areg and JoJo from getting their comics out?" The bottom line is that I do not make these when the missus is on the prowl.  I can only make them when she's out of the house or asleep. If she is constantly looking over my shoulder while I am at the computer, my ability to make these "disgusting things" (her words, not mine) is profoundly limited.  You may have days with no comic, or very short comics, and I am sorry for that but it is out of my control.

Believe me, I do what I do because I absolutely love doing it.  I will do whatever I can to get you something Monday through Friday. Can I promise that?  Sadly, I cannot.  Can I appeal to Lauren and say that I have to make the comics, because especially now when people are locked indoors with nothing to do, they need them.  I will try. But she thinks I'm perverted for making them, and she does not care how any of you are affected if I can't post.

But just so you know:  if it is humanly possible for me to get you what you are paying for and what you deserve, I will.  And I'm sure in a few weeks this madness will all be over, leaving just a grim memory we can one day tell our grandchildren.  In the meantime, stay safe.  Avoid crowds.  Avoid physical contact.  Wash your hands frequently.  Take vitamin C.  And have faith that we will endure this, and put it behind us.
