Thanks! I think so too. She still had all of her powers, and can choose to live in her bottle if she wants to.

I believe that in the original djinn stories the djinn were powerful magicians who were bound into servitude and trapped in objects while not serving. If they are released from bondage they are still powerful magicians. But there are many modern stories where a human replaced a djinn as a servant of the object. If and when the human is released from bondage they loose their magical powers and access to the bottle. It will be interesting to see what happens to Genie, now that she has been freed. It's too bad she is only free in this virtual world. It would be nice to see what happens if she was released in the real (well, more real) world, as long as she doesn't set the entire story line off balance. Among your longer stories, I think this is one of your best Areg5.
