Love the AP where the character stays in diapers! Wish she could have stayed in them a bit longer though ;)

Heheh ...yeah ...

Areg5

How embarrassing, he says!

RiverRhode

Haha! Yeah, and TG!

Areg5

No, she's the exact same model with the youth morph turned off and different hair.

Areg5

More AP! Yay! (Well, I guess it's not really AP since you weren't really a baby... but I'll take it)

TGTrinity

😁got it Areg.. is female you based on any of your kids or relatives . This girl looks different than Joanie and I'm not referring to the difference in age either 🤔

Shoji

Maybe now you can teach your daughter a lesson for being so smug and disrespectful towards you!

Yep. Me!

Areg5

Well ...that's a good question. It's Thea. Like was mentioned in SLIY, unlike everyone else she's actually real. I guess she aged me in a fairy-like way, but she does stuff like that in her stories as an author. I guess for sake of argument, in my world that manifests itself as being a fairy.

Areg5

Areg who exactly is the newly transformed teen girl Is it the creator, John, the Boss?

Shoji

That’s one way to age him up. LOL So… Thea the fairy is babysitting Jon. The fun just never stops with you 

Nice tips! Batch rendering is an excellent idea. Still, 'a few minutes' to set up a scene is what impresses me the most. Must come from the skill you gained over those 5 years. I'd consider CG art still 'art' because even though it only takes you a few minutes, it involves creativity in selecting the scene, poses, expressions, lighting, props, etc. I'm sure you've got plenty of go-to poses that you use regularly and you can't get super nit-picky about perfect collision, otherwise it takes forever to set it up. You've fine tuned your process quite nicely!

Yes, that is the first thing. Have passion for what you do. I have passion for making the images. Back in the day, I wrote some stories for the ararchive. Some Like it Young was actually the first one I ever wrote. Next, at least for the kind of "artwork" I do (I put it in quotes as I haven't really resolved whether making pictures using a graphics program is artwork), you have to develop a proficiency for using and understanding the program. It took me about 5 years to get where I am with it, and I'm still learning. Part of the learning was knowing what you need from the standpoint of hardware to make the images quickly, after you've mastered posing and lighting. Lighting is very tough, and the appearence of the scene hinges on it. I was using the Daz3d incorporated rendering engine 3Delight, which I thought was good but I found that Iray looks better. Problem was, to make an Iray image would take my laptop the better part of a day because it is very dependent on graphics cards, and they have to be nvidia. It was apparent that if I wanted to use Iray, I needed a better computer and that's how Patreon started for me . It's worked out. As I built the computer, I added more and more video cards until I could make an Iray image in 10-15 minutes. The final piece of my puzzle came down to time. I could set up a scene in a few minutes but it was cumbersome to sit by the computer, wait for it to finish, and go to the next scene. So what I do is set up all the scenes one after the other. When I have 10 or 15 of them, I put them through a batch rendering program and a couple of hours later I have all the images. Then I have to put in the dialogue. That's also evolved for me. I used to be able to write the script, then make the appropriate images. Now I can do images so fast I start with just an outline, make the images and then make up the text to suit it. I always have a general idea what I want to happen in the story while I'm doing the images. As for this one ...yeah, I wanted to do something a little different! I'm not even into the story yet, this is just the lead up to it!

Wasn't expecting that! On a side note, how are you so prolific? Seriously. Can you give one or two tips to aspiring artists on how to produce content faster?! Obviously you must have passion for your work, but beyond that, how do you create a daily comic! :)
