As for Emily, yeah ...bad timing. She must have been busy. Oh, and like Annie said, teachers have something of a free reign. Also, as Sara noted in Evil Girlfriend, Annie has friends in high places.

How dumb do the people at the Magic School have to be to make Annie a teacher, especially after all the events that just transpired? It’s not like there’s a shorted of witnesses around to testify about what happened. She ought to be locked in that cell where they held Genie, only make it a lot darker and danker. Sigh. How much longer is Evil Still? How long do we have to wait for the next story?
