Khazan's Staff
Added 2025-03-27 16:19:46 +0000 UTC(SPOILERS AHEAD) In the 5E module, the staff that appears in Khazan's crypt is a staff of power - a very rare magic item with many offensive abilities. Dragnacarta retooled the staff for CoS - Reloaded, but it's still very powerful, if more a defensive item that boost's the wielder's existing spells and skills instead of adding new ones. He describes it as elegant and decorated with platinum, but a I gave it a bit more of a brutal, angular twist to match Khazan's ambition to overcome death as a demilich, and to turn the shape in the tower door puzzle into a geometric design motif hovering over the finial. Maybe it spins or glows when the wielder casts spells? You decide!
