The Abbot
Added 2024-01-31 15:00:19 +0000 UTCThe Abbot can be an inscrutable character in Curse of Strahd, but I really enjoyed the chance to draw him. I took a departure as per the direction from Dragnacarta - this Abbot, youthful-looking but of indeterminate age, is more an approachable parish priest than the haughty-looking church administrator in the module. Richard Whittiers designed him wearing a tall, starched-looking cornette, the first casualty of this redesign, but I kept his sleeves. I imagine him donning the hat (and other garments) as a way of keeping things tidy during his many surgeries.
