Some F&F concept art of my gal Sakura! :)

I had the wild "what if" idea in that she had a tattoo, so these are basically to explore that idea. Thanks to the feedback I got I ultimately went with Tattoo 3 (seen in the second image), then I tested out how it'd look with different shirts and tops. 

Seeing Sakura with the shirts on is what really sold me entirely on the tattoo, largely because I think it helped me work out a kink in who she is as a character! Despite the story being a thing for about 2 years and some months it's seen a lot of changes, both character-wise and story-wise. The characters are still evolving as a go, which I found I actually very much enjoy! Case in point, the idea of the tattoo led me to the idea of what her wardrobe usually consists of: in the past I just kinda threw her in whatever came to mind but now I have a much better idea of the things she'd actually like and frequently wear: muscle shirts, often long-sleeved, and almost always wearing shorts or capris.

As for how she got it: she was dared to! I imagine some of her friends tease her for her inability to sit still for long periods of time outside of gaming, and when she expressed interest in getting a tattoo the response was generally "pft. You couldn't last five minutes let alone 5 hours." Sakura took it as a challenge and worked with a tattoo artist to get a large tattoo to prove them wrong.

Weeeelllll turns out they're right. She could barely stomach sitting still for so long, but she did manage to over the course of a couple sessions and got a badass tattoo out of it. Too bad her clothes preference often hides it, but she doesn't mind; it's just a fun little mystery for people to uncover ;)

Will likely touch back on this in future sketches to further test the design and such! But I'm very pleased with it so far! ^.^
