You're no seal... (WIP)

The WIP of the upcoming monthly comic! I got hella inspired by a tumblr post I can't seem to find anywhere anymore, and opted to do an original one instead of a fandom one this time. I hope ya'll don't mind!! ;w;

That additional image was what I used after I narrowed down the designs to just two iterations for voting. I STILL CANT DECIDE BECAUSE I'm FUCKING WEAK! :c But the image is also a bit of a style test; simplified and sketchy, which I might try for the comic to see how ya'll like it owo

Anyway! Since there are no words as of now, here's the rough script of the comic!

Page 1:

-Sonny lounges on her surfboard when a figure darts beneath it.

-A hand shoots up and grips her leg hard, giving it a little tug.

-Sonny is oh so startled

Page 2:

-Sonny yanks her foot out of the water: "What the hell?!"

-A head pops up from the water to Sonny's shock.

-Rayn stares at Sonny in wonder: "You're no seal..."

-Rayn after realizing she spoke aloud, blushing: "I-I'm sorry! I thought... I... Sorry!"

Page 3:

Rayn immediately ducks back into the water in a hurry. Sonny stares at the spot while the water slowly settles. After a beat of stunned silence, she says: "...Cute."

Depending on how well this comic does I might do reoccuring comics featuring these two! :)
