art fair preparations ate a lot of my free time but i must admit it that first day came out extremely boring and dissapointing - actually no people came to check over 50 vendors - there is a lot i can say about poor organisation, also bad timing, as the fair is happening in the same time as two big fair/expo events.
im writing this 2h before going out for the second (last) day of the event - i dont have more hope but i will go there anyways.
Gladly I can work on comms while sitting there so I finished shading and coloring for both pieces for Kisha + alts. Also I wanted to show you the wips and banner progress C: final (purple version) is printed and looks really well on the booth! (2x1m !)
And about the fair - this longer note is to let you know how it can be sometimes. I knew im not gonna sell much, as this is a new, non-furry ground for me. there are many thoughts and conclusions - its my third art-related event im attending which is not furry oriented and its a huge dissapointment :p Still, im trying to get new contacts and meet new people - which came out well and i had great time meeting other vendors :)
Also I got more experience in selling out stuff, planning my booth and merch to sell. I dont find it as a bad weekend according to that - even without any atendees I needed to solve some own-problems, plan the limited space, get back to talking to strangers and get to know other people's art job/hobbies.
But dont be surprised if im gonna post a pic of playing minecraft for 8h today because of the empty event haha xD
(gonna work on comms during that time too, i swear :>)
