[Tutorial] Piano Phasing in DAWs - Inspired by Steve Reich [Ableton Live Project Files]
Added 2022-01-14 17:38:39 +0000 UTCWhen I first heard this piece being performed it was like thunder striking the very core of myself. Couldn’t believe how such a minimalistic composition could embody so much richness and complexity in its concept.
Besides its tremendous potential as a practice object for live performers [and beyond], couldn’t help but notice that this technique might be helpful for inspirational purposes.
That’s mostly why I decided to make a tutorial on how to make use of it on any DAWs. (I’m using Ableton Live for this one, but you can accomplish this in any workstation of your choosing.)
