World Building Prompt: Regionally Unique Problems

Comments

There's a place in very dense jungle where people make living bridges by unhitching the long, fast growing vines from the trees on either side of a river and tying them across, keeping an eye on them and as the initial vines take hold and grow they add more and more, strengthening this bridge until it might be large and strong enough to accept a cart. These aren't common, wheeled transport is rare. I can't remember if it's somewhere in India or SE Asia or if it's a New World culture though.
