Reward Rework
Added 2018-06-18 15:17:13 +0000 UTCIts only been about 6 weeks since this Patreon was started in earnest and we have grown very quickly. We just had our first major content release and I'm happy to hear that many of you were very pleased with it. As I've said before, my goal is to get to 5 pages per month so we can produce 2 new chapters every year. I will wait before making any changes to the rewards, but I want to talk to you guys about what ideas I have in mind in order to achieve that goal.
Concept Art
Currently, we release two pages of concept art each month to $10+ patrons. I want to both make this material more accessible while also involving patrons in its production, so I am going to be introducing voting options to this reward. Now, instead of me deciding which piece of concept art is posted when, I will present a list of 4 options to vote on so Patrons can decide which gets released.
I am thinking of splitting this tier into 2 parts: A new $5 tier that just gets access to the concept art, and a new $15 tier for people who want to vote on which piece of concept art gets released next, as well as revisions on those pieces of concept art. Think a character needs to have bigger boobs? Want a monster to be taller, or darker? Should that space ship be longer? This is the kind of input I want to hear from patrons.
This allows people who just want more content, but can't afford $10 to see the concept pages, while people who want to be more involved in the comic, but missed out on the Duchess tier to have some influence.
