Here's a neat modification-to-a-modification for the Bank window, brought to you by new Darq Side member Adorkable. He's been playing on the Anashti Sul server where platinum pieces are a bit harder to come by than on Live servers.

If you haven't played around with the Banking Sidebar, take a look at this daily tip. The Sidebar offers a much quicker, more convenient way to move specific amounts of money into and out of the bank. Until now the interactive controls were focused only on platinum because at this stage in the Live game's economy, plat is decidedly the dominant denomination of the dominion.

On Anashti Sul, and really for any new alt character that hasn't been twinked out with cash infusions, gold is more likely to be at the top end of what you're saving, spending and trading for the first few levels. A new Sidebar setting lets you choose which denomination you want the controls to focus on.

In "gold mode" the action labels change from white to gold, and clicking the controls will move gold pieces around in the same way as plat. You can still transfer platinum in gold mode if needed -- just click 100 to move a single plat, 1000 to move 10 plat, etc. And when your character accumulates enough wealth to be comfortably in all-plat territory, you can switch back to "plat mode" with a couple of clicks. Nice!
