Here are some things we've been working on for you in February. We'll start with a recap of some ideas from the newsletter that are now available in-game, plus several new premium updates and a utility bug fix.
From February Waypoints:
And some interesting new tweaks...
Changing Channels
Reapp's ACT Statter plug-in is getting quite a bit of attention from raiders and serious groupers, and the new multi-character stat logging is proving to be an informative resource. Founding Darq Side member Morrigu uses Statter logging in different chat channels depending on his group/raid/solo situation. He wondered if we could make it simpler to choose an alternate channel in the Window Manager, rather than erasing and typing in the new channel name every time. Here's what we came up with:

Setting your default Statter channel works the same as always with the usual Save button, so if you only use one channel nothing has changed. But now there is a new dropdown (see image) for adding and choosing from among several customizable "favorite" channel names. If you log stats to different channels, this new widget is exactly what you need. Tooltips on the controls provide more info if you need it. Thanks to Morrigu for the idea, testing and feedback!
Bar Bug
Recently Darq Side member Maris discovered that some of his buffs were casting at the wrong level when cast from the Icon Bar. We investigated and found a lookup bug which has been corrected for the next utility version. When you do a lookup for a spell that contains an apostrophe (such as Jester's Cap or Selo's Accelerando) the utility automatically replaces the spell name with a spell ID number to ensure it gets cast correctly.
But in cases where you do a lookup on a spell that contains an apostrophe, and you do not specify the level, the utility chooses the lowest level spell ID. Probably not what you want. So now for apostrophe'd spells, the utility will ask you to confirm your desired spell level:

Thanks to Maris for pointing out the bug, and for working with me on the fix! If you would like to use this change prior to publication of the next utility, you can always DM me in Discord and I'll send you a beta copy of the utility code that is on the boards at that point.
Until then: For spells that contain an apostrophe, type the complete spell name with level (Jester's Cap IV) into the first slot and click Lookup. The utility will return the correct ID, but it will also remove the roman numeral from the name. Manually add back the IV or other level from either the utility or the Window Manager to enable icon tinting for the spell.
Login/Logout Commands
Do you routinely run a macro, toggle a window or issue some other command when you first log in or out? If so, a new convenience from Darq Sider Alils has got you covered. In his case, Alils was adjusting his voice settings manually on login for some of his characters.
Now, using new Login/Logout Command controls on the Shutdown window, you can issue almost any chat command or macro automatically in the background as you log in or out.

There is a tab for the current character and one for all characters, with up to three commands for each category. They work exactly like you would expect, using the same rules as other chat command-based features elsewhere in the UI (wrap single-quote pairs around special characters, etc.) One less thing to worry about. Nice!
(Technicals: "All Characters" commands fire before "Current Character" commands. Login commands fire after most other initial login activity has completed, so expect a few seconds delay upon logging in. Logout commands occur after Temporary Ignore List adjustments but before Auto-Inventory logging.)
Confirmation of a Sort
We've all been there before -- sorting the wrong category in the Knowledge book. Ugh! Darq Sider Kuulei mentioned that particular frustration in Discord recently, but my initial suggestion to get rid of the Sort button altogether didn't go over very well. So instead we now have the option to add a sorting confirmation that puts the name of the current Knowledge category front-and-center.

As always stay tuned for more excellent ideas large and small from our members, stay warm, and thank you!
