The Way I (Over)See It
Added 2023-02-09 17:39:00 +0000 UTCIf you're still slogging through Overseer levels like me, that big green XP bar can seem like it's crawling slower and slower. One of my frustrations was tracking how many points each Overseer quest grants. Yes, you can infer that longer missions grant more points than shorter ones, and blue (Treasured) missions don't reward as much as Legendary, Fabled and Celestial tiers. But exactly how much XP are we talking here?
It's possible but annoying to find experience reward amounts on the Wikia site and if you want to locate the info in-game you can do it, but that's also inconvenient. It involves clicking the Reward Details icon in the Overseer window, then examining the reward crate itself, then finding the mission of interest (see image #2). Who has patience for that? Not me.
Now whenever you select a mission you can immediately see how many Overseer Experience points it will grant (click image #1 above to see the new display). So when you're choosing which 10 to run for the day, you can be a little bit more informed. You can determine your overall remaining points for the current level by mousing over the XP bar at the bottom. So a little quick math tells me I'll get to Level 40 sometime in the summer of 2038. Sigh.
