Things may seem to be quiet during the first few days of December here at the Darq Side, but that doesn't mean we're not on the ball. As the year winds down and the new expansion heats up, here's a variety of miscellaneous items that are either done and published, or being worked on actively.
On Location
Our favorite game has an odd habit of sending random windows into outer space every now and then, and you already know the Locate feature in Window Settings is the place to go when you need to recover a missing component. We've built in two more choices on the Locate dropdown: Enemies List and Heroic Opportunity.
Off to a Good Stat
The game developers have blessed us with ever-increasing stats and some badly needed commas in a lot of places. The DarqUI Character window, which is the hub for most of your stats, has gotten some attention and should no longer display partial stats that are cut off due to being too large to fit inside their labels. Every stat on the stat sidebar -- character, pet/warder/construct, mercenary and the extra Combat Stats page -- has been resized to accommodate all the astronomically large stat values. If you still see anything that's getting cut off, just let me know.
Perfect Timing
Darq Side member badndash commented recently in Discord that the DarqUI Countdown Timer was only useful for times up to 99 minutes, but some things like zone reuse timers and food/drink can have far longer durations. We've been working on an improvement that I think you'll like.
Now instead of a single 99-minute timer you'll be able to customize five preset timer durations up to 9 hours each. You'll be able to choose between them right from the clock face, and you'll be able to set any one of them as your default for each character. The feature is already in good shape, and badndash is in the process of testing.

Delta Gets You There
Naviaz reminded me that we need the new Call of the Delta port added to the Transport window, so it's now available on the Calls tab. Just remember to place your seatback tray in the upright position before taking off.
Big Advancement
If you had a chance to read the December newsletter, you probably figured out the 2K/4K component currently on the chopping block is the Alternate Advancement window. This was actually one of the very first windows I tried to tackle when we started the 2K/4K project back in 2020, but it had a couple of... shall we say quirks... that sent it to the back burner while we super-sized other less difficult components.
It's definitely coming along, and the window is in what I would call the fine-tuning stage. Translated, this means making some peculiar behaviors as tolerable as possible. This week I finally figured out how to do something that had been evading me, which got rid of one of the peculiarities. One down, three to go.
Happy Frostfell
I hope your holiday season is going great and that you're enjoying as much game time as possible. Watch for more good things to appear in DarqUI, and thank you for mentioning the Darq Side and the premium UI to your guildmates and fellow players. I'll see you in the desert!
