DarqUI 2K/4K Group 22 Published

Part 3

Since the new Varsoon TLE server has clearly been a big hit with players, it made sense to look around the UI for any components specific to time-locked and special ruleset servers that might benefit from upsizing. Interestingly there is one -- on the Kael Drakkel Lore and Legend server.

If you look on the Achievements tab in the Quest Journal you can access a Story Mode Leaderboard that tracks achievements server-wide. It's a pretty neat system that may get implemented on other special servers in the future, and if you have characters on Kael Drakkel and play in 2K or 4K, you'll definitely want to add this component to your UI.

This will wrap up Group 22, but as usual the next group is already underway. What's in it? You'll just have to wait and see!

Part 2

Here are two more items from the grab bag that you'll most likely bump into in your life on Norrath. Tradeskill Research and the Mercenary Search window. Both of these are part of the 2K and 4K Extras packages. Mercenary Search was added to the UI not long ago, so if you're wondering where you can find it, there's a button on the stats sidebar on the Merc page in the Character window. There's one more bit coming to Group 22, a window that was designed for a specific server type. Stay tuned!

Part 1

Here's a component that's had some helpful surgery under the hood. You can make it do everything but a backflip (we're still working on that!) Use the DarqUI Socials window for building complex macros, roleplaying emotes, it can even do a reasonable impersonation of a hotbar. Check out this week's tip to see how it works. The Edit Macro window also got the L and XL treatment (see image), so check for updates and try it out.

Group 22 is just getting started, so look for another installment soon!

And just a quick note about updates: because the Socials window version number didn't change with the L and XL additions, you'll want to scroll down and choose your preferred size when you check for updates. You'll only need to do this once!
