DarqUI 2K/4K Group 21 Published

Part 3

Just in time for the new Varsoon TLE server, Character Creation and Character Select are now available in 2K and 4K sizes. DarqUI doesn't modify anything in these areas, so you can download the new files in the L or XL Extras package with your utility. This concludes Group 21, but Group 22 is already started. So stay tuned, and we'll see you on the new TLE server!

Part 2

Mirror mirror... I'll admit it, the DarqUI Dressing Room gets used for one reason or another just about every time I play. Whether I'm checking out some new appearance armor on the market, trying on an uber new weapon that somebody linked in chat, or shuffling rugs and lamps around in the moving crate, getting a closer look at things happens all the time.

A recently added default component, the Market Preview, is another variation of the dressing room that's also available now in 2K and 4K sizes. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure why this popup was added to the Market window, since it seems basically like a duplicate of the viewer that's aleady in the Market window itself. But just in case the developers have some unknown use for it in the future, this seems like the best place to put it.

Notice those descriptions in the Market Preview? Those are actually tooltips, so they are sized according to a user-configurable setting instead of any DarqUI magic. This post has some more info about how you can control your complex tooltip sizes, and this post shows you another spot in the UI where tooltip size affects a component that's not a tooltip.

Part 1

Here are two components that deal with a subject that's near and dear to all our hearts: Loot! The Loot window and Group Options are now available in L and XL sizes, and both are part of the Extras package. We can thank Alderin for moving these windows to the top of the to-do list, so remember to mail all those extra rat whiskers to him in appreciation. Group 21 is just getting started, so stay tuned!
