More new developments in the ongoing browser situation, and the borderless fullscreen game feature.
Browser
In a recent update Daybreak replaced the aging Awesomium browser with a Google product called CEF. The result seems to work just fine, although it has temporarily affected a couple of our features that I want to tell you about.
The DarqUI Notifier app offers the URL Helper which bypasses the in-game browser. If you are still using this instead of the new internal browser, you have probably noticed some issues. For example, the URL Helper is reporting multiple instances of EverQuest2.exe even though you are only running one copy of the game.
This is because the game client and the new browser instances all use the same EverQuest2.exe name, as you can see in the Windows Task Manager. Since the URL Helper currently does not know how to deal with this, it usually picks the wrong one.

FSW
Similarly, the DarqUI fullscreen windowed feature, which is invoked from the utility or the notifier, usually picks the wrong process since it grabs the first EverQuest2.exe that it finds, assuming it has found the game. It's not smart enough to pick through all of the instances to find the right one.
I welcomed these new upgrades when they arrived, and I recommend that you choose them over their DarqUI counterparts. But we do have some members who still want to use the DarqUI versions, since some players prefer using their default browser, and our FSW appears to be more friendly to multiple-monitor setups.
The code in both DarqUI apps has been reworked to be compatible with these game changes; everything is being tested and appears to be working well. The upcoming app versions should get both issues straightened out for you.
