Same, until it wasn't. Scott was always my favorite X-man as a kid, then as a teen i disliked him both because of the aforementioned eternal asshole mode, and the non stop time and space traveling Summers family drama. Then later on as an adult he became my absolute favorite X-Man again because Cyclops Was Right. He's hands down the best leader in all of Marvel, if there were anybody i would want to follow it'd be him 10 out of 10 times.
