Here's a couple of bonus Large and X-Large UI parts that I'll bet you didn't expect: Chat bubbles and conversations! This comes from a... wait for it... conversation with one of our newer members, Ktyak, who has one of those mystical 4K rigs and who is having a devil of a time with how small everything is.
Conversations is the official description for the UI-assisted interactions you have with quest NPCs: what they say to you on the left (chat), and how you respond on the right (buttons). Click on the images above to get a better idea of the sizes.
Even though conversations do include chat in bubbles, there's a separate category called, interestingly enough, Chat bubbles. These are the ones that appear overhead without any buttons, for example when that gnome marches up to you in Qeynos and starts blabbing about sprockets. No responses for those, sadly. I can think of some choice replies to put on buttons. Maybe in DarqUI_v4.
If you're not using the new DarqUI chat bubbles, you can freely change the font size in Options. But unfortunately the white chat bubble itself never gets any wider, so you end up with tall skinny columns of huge text that get pretty annoying instantly. So that's what the DarqUI mod does: It widens the chat bubble window appropriately for N, L and XL sizes, and automatically sets the size of the text to match the text in the conversation bubbles.
As always, thank you for joining the project, and I trust it's making your game time more convenient, powerful and entertaining. Thank you also for mentioning The Darq Side to your friends and guildmates. We're getting to our member goal at dial-up speeds, but the tin can at the other end of the string is looking very good.
