We are so fortunate to be able to watch the Yokozuna in such great form, even at this stage of his career. I think we should enjoy every bout while we can!

2024-07-24 00:36:22 +0000 UTCi agree - it has been disappointing. My guess is some injury is at the root cause of his inability to fight at the level that got him to ozeki in the first place. I do wonder if he will ever be an ozeki again

2024-07-23 18:21:32 +0000 UTCYeah, I don't know if I expected better from Kirishima in this match, but I certainly expected more from him in this basho. I really thought, when he made ozeki, that he was poised to go on a run, but he really seems to have sputtered.
