Remember how he played with and then destroyed Terenofuji last time they met on the day of his last match.

Another thing: Please remember the brilliance of the current coach Miyagino with joy, but don't compare every other Yokozuna to him, out of 73 Yokozuna not quite 20 reached the 10 Championship threshold.

Leaves the whole thing kind of flat and boring. Thanks for your coverage. Sorry I can only do the lowest tier, I am a retired teacher.

2024-07-21 15:14:34 +0000 UTCUnfortunate choice of words there. Because Terunofuji has only been consistent in his missing entire or large parts of the last few bashos! But at times, when he is somehow healthy enough, his performance is pure dominance. I found sumo on Youtube again during Covid, then Terunofuji was consistently dominant in his rise to Yokozuna.

It's good to see the Yokozuna back on his way for another Cup. Makes the other Rikishi have to think about what they need to do to get consistent like him.
