I've had a few little problems with YouTube uploads. Hopefully this one will work. This is a critique of the Shimano CUES groupset. Nothing really that new here, a rehash of old gear and interestingly some hubs without cup and cone bearings.

I *think* they are all the same because the cog spacing is the same so the pull ratio must be the same and they are all using an 11 spd chain. I'm sure someone who is a lot more technical than me will know!

Yeah. It works. In regard to pull ratio, not sure if you are right. As I understood PR is ratio between how much RD move VS how much cable is pulled. 1:1 means 1mm of cable pull by shifter makes RD move 1mm sideways. What that means is that you cant use 10 speed shifter with 11 speed cassette, since 10 and 11 speed cassettes are same total width but sprockets are spaced more on 10 speed. But you can use same RD. Also, that means you must pair shifter with cassette, same RD can work with 9s, 10s and 11s combo (cassette and shifter). Not sure i'm right, but that is how i understood pull ratio :). What you said would work if 9 speed cassette is 9/11 of width of 11speed, they have same cog to cog distance. What I've seen until now, different speed cassettes have different distance between cogs, always. Whether I'm wrong or right, keep up good work :D
