I have actually played Final Fantasy (google search) 9, but don't remember her at all.
I normally do a lot of sketching before I settle on something, but I found this comp and rolled with it.
Later, I learned of how tragic her backstory and her race, so she moved into a fairly nondescript rainy blue location. You know, instead of just posing naked in the ruins of her home city.
Always do a little research before you draw characters naked!
