Regiments don't have mottos *yet*, and it uses the crest of the House of Findlay (red dragon's head on white) as the regimental emblem. There haven't been any famous alumni yet save the Dukes of Cunaris themselves, mostly because the sort of people who served in the Dragoons pre-war weren't the sort to have the pedigree or resources to go on to high office. Of course, given recent events, that's primed to change.

Last, have there been any distinguished former officers in the regiment before going on to greater things in Tierran Society. For example, Winston Churchill served in the 3rd Hussars before going to become Prime Minister.
