Illustrated stories?

I've been pondering for some time now about creating some illustrated stories. I decide I want to give it a shot but honestly I'm pretty rusty and need to do some practice before I commit to anything large. I've done a lot of writing for the VN but its written in a screen play styled script so its quite different from a regular story. So I might do some very short, proof of concept type of stories, maybe only a few pages long to get the hang of it.

I've also thought about doing some really short comics maybe even try animating something again.

I'm sort of sort of just thinking out loud at the moment, getting my thoughts on paper so to speak rather then let them sit in my head.
