Ok. The Re-Volt figure is actually my son’s. He found it at a flea market for $2. He named it “Rock Pecker” cause it transformed into a bird. He slept with it like a teddy bear.

2023-09-23 00:27:08 +0000 UTCOne cool factoid is that some of the early Gobot toys where from a company called Poppy. Poppy was a toy company that specialized in diecast toys. They were later bought out by a very young Bandai. Some go-bots will say Poppy and some say Bandai. Same figure

2023-09-23 00:23:18 +0000 UTCI never owned anything older than early 90's-era Transformers as a kid, so I never got to experience toys with much metal in them. Reading about how hefty a mostly diecast toy is and actually holding one in your hand is worlds apart!
