I have a bit of a surprise - I slowly started recording The Legend of Korra! According to your poll results that's the show you wanted to see next. I already uploaded 3 episodes to the folder, here it is:

I didn't want to tell anyone just yet since I'm doing Spooktober videos in the meantime and they have been my priority this month so I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up the pace I maintained with Avatar at least for now, I also didn't want to jump back into that just yet so for now I'm gonna take it slow - 3 unedited episodes reactions are there for you, none of them are posted on youtube yet - I still need to take care of editing these. I have been enjoying the show so far, it's definitely more political which I like, Korra isn't as annoying as I expected haha. But yeah, only 3 episodes in it's not possible to pass any judgements yet.
Other than that I'm gonna do some more Halloween related reactions, I might try reacting to a movie, haven't seen the first Hocus Pocus yet!

2022-11-02 22:41:27 +0000 UTCThe idea of the chi blockers is it takes away bending temporarily, however their main weapon is shocking them with the shock gloves. Those gloves are particularly effective against the police who develop their strategies around metal bending--which makes them very susceptible to being taken out. The chi blockers are so strong because they don't have bending, so they train strictly as fighters. Many of them can chi block, but mostly they are expert fighters with chi blocking training, and they use the shock weapons as their main weapon. Remember, Ty Lee never lost a battle. She took out Katara, Sokka, an earth kingdom battalion, and the kyoshi warriors, who were also expert fighters without bending. and even Azula. There is precedent that the best fighters aren't benders. The equalists are populists with a LOT of support that has been hidden until now. They might not have the majority, but they certainly have enough numbers to cause political instability. If you are powerless to the population, the culture, government, and laws which is built around benders, then the equalists have a seductive message. Example: the shop owners who were powerless against benders in the first episode.
